This project involved a four-month GIS technical support assignment to the Health GeoLab Hub, the main implementing partner supporting UNICEF Cambodia in strengthening geospatial data readiness for health sector analysis. Under this engagement, GroupMappers contributed to provide specialized support in preparing GIS datasets required for accessibility analysis and related spatial planning activities. The work focused on supporting operational needs through structured coordination, including interactions with relevant officials and partners, organization of technical meetings, and systematic collection of required datasets.

A key component of the assignment was ensuring strong data quality assurance, including cleaning, validation, and quality control of collected GIS data. This ensured that datasets were accurate, complete, and analysis-ready for accessibility modeling and evidence-based health service planning. The support contributed to strengthening the geospatial foundation required for informed decision-making and improved health service accessibility assessments in Cambodia.
